  1. I agree with you to some extent; Independent is verbally abusing other people on here, which should not be allowed to happen. S/he is rentless in his/her attacks, bringing up accusations with no evidence to support such claims. And no, I don't mean the anti-adoption articles. I mean against people who come on here and ask about adoption advice, who accuse all mothers of being baby stealers and who are only in it for the money because they happen to be infertile, etc.

However, does it really bother you so much? They're one user. One account. One opinion in many. As far as I know, there aren't any other users that do so much "attacking" (aside from Sunny, but even she is not that vehement IMO).

Ignore the thumbs down. You have an opinion. You have the right to use it just as much as other people do. That's why I refuse to shut up, and that's why you refuse to "run away", isn't it?

By the way, why do you remain here anyway? Wouldn't it be more productive to... er, focus on your life sans adoption, since you are a pro-adoption person and believe there aren't any real issues about being adopted?

  2. You know, I've wondered the same thing.  How many times can someone get away with personally calling out and attacking members by accusing them of crimes?  Namely, "baby brokering".

ETA: I don't have a problem with thumbs or with answers I don't agree with.  It's the personal calling out and the accusations that fly around here.

  3. I must have missed Sly's question.  She doesn't like my opinions and blocked me and my counterpart, School Nurse, too.  Little does she know there are more School Nurses where they came from.....an endless supply.  Meet School Nurse 3, 4,5, and 6....lol

Independent just sings the same song over and over.  Second verse same as the first.  I mostly ignore her.

All you can do is report and ignore.

I guess if everyone else eventually leaves this site they will be left alone in the "room" to congratulate each other about how "great" they are and no one else will be around to notice.

Sad thing, though.  Nothing will be gained.  Nothing at all.

  4. do you have examples...

  5. Suzy, I see you accusing all adoptees who have searched of doing something wrong.  You do it all the time.  You are vicious and malicious in your attacks.  Complain all you want.  But you are more full of nonsense than anyone else on here.  I don't think you have a leg to stand on.

  6. I am one of the people "she" contuously attacks...  I'm sick of it and I've been reporting it as much as I can but it takes two people.  Some get removed; most do not.  The serious people in here should not support those comments and report them as well.  When they do support "her" by not reporting "her" it makes them look just as stupid and ignorant.

  7. Build a bridge.

Report it if you don't like it.

Let Y!A deal with it in their own time.

But if you report every tiny thing because you don't like it - and want to stamp your feet because you aren't getting things your own way - they take no notice of your reports.

I'd say they have you on constant ignore.

You two abuse her and others just as much.

    Pot....kettle.........

    ETA: people - they're words - & thumbs - on a screen.

    Get. A. Grip.

  8. It used to bother me as well but I just had to settle my mind on ignoring those inflammatory questions.  If someone wants to accuse, blame and finger point around here I'm quite content to let them do it in a vacuum.  I got sucked into it once but now I refuse to get involved.

  9. Honestly, I won't report unless it is crude.

I prefer to leave the Q's up for other to see. Some people loose all credibility (as if there were any on the internet, you should know that) just by their everyday Q&A. Just let their stupidity show for all to see.

ETA- Suzy, DO you work in the adoption industry?

  10. And you're innocent???? Yeah, go stomp your feet, stand in a corner, count to 10, do whatever you have to do, but quit acting like a twit!

  11. I personally think this forum is getting out of hand. There are to many on here that think they own the forum and that anyone who doesn't share their negative attitude don't belong. They deliberately and viciously attack anyone who has anything positive to say. I think they should get there own my space or something and let people on here alone. Some of them even have the audacity to say that it is a place where everyone can share their views. But when they do and they don't agree with them they are rude and sometimes very hurtful in the way they respond. One of my favorites is the kool-aid remark. How childish. Yahoo should spend more time watching what does go on and what is said in this forum

Look at the thumbs down to the answers that kinda says it all. LOL

  12. Who knows? Why have they allowed the YA adoption section to become so political. People who want to change public policy should post on other sections. You can't come on here anymore and ask legitimate adoption questions. It's ridiculous. I feel sorry for people who really need help through the adoption process and can't ask a single question without getting attacked viciously.

Does anybody know of another website where you can ask questions about the adoption process? That would be really helpful.

  13. If you don't like what specific people have to say then don't read their questions... Sounds kinda simple to me.

    EDIT: I agree with Jessica!!
