Why does Yahoo! Answers have levels?2?

I don't get it.Why do they?

press on ur points by ur avatar and it will explain ...when u go up to a higher level u get to do more.

When you get in level 2 for instance you can vote to others answers "thumb up" if you like the answer from your parterns when you´re agree or it´s just funny for you.... and the thumb down if you don´t like it or are disagree with it.

so many points  take you to a different level  example 220  i think takes u  to level 2 then 525 takes u to level 3 etc
