Why does Yahoo close questions?

This poster asked if RED colored vehicles have the highest rate of accidents for a vehicle, or is it a myth.

The Best answer said it was a myth,most other posters agreed. I tried to post but answering questions are over and it just does not seem right that a myth was wrongly being validated

I am not sure if it the same every year however i distinctly recall reading a list from the US Transportation safety adminstration about 5 years ago, "RED" colored vehicles had the HIGHEST rate of accidents,followed by "BLACK". "LIME GREEN"(like the color used by US Army staff cars) was the safest colored vehicle, followed by WHITE

Most likely someone complained about it because at that time there where about 4 of those questions.

Black cars denote an aggressive personality or someone who's an outsider or rebel.

Silver cars indicate someone who's cool, calm and slightly aloof.
