Why does Yahoo have so many script warnings?

When I look at the error console after displaying a Yahoo Answers page there are scores of warnings. Why?

Different browsers require different pieces of code to do the same thing sometimes.  When the programmers write 3 pieces of code to do the same thing, and only one of them works for the browser you are using, sometimes the others will throw warnings. If you're getting anything more than just an icon in the lower left (IE) then there is something more serious wrong with the website and you should probably submit your problem to the yahoo webmasters.
