Ok you have a superwalmart building in a city like Phoenix and another in a small town in Arizona. They are both equipped with the same departments and services. So is it just because it's in a bigger city that they build a bigger building?? Or is it to allow for more walking room perhaps???

  1. how old are the stores to each other? are they both super centers...for example the regular walmart down the road is small however the supercenter around the corner is bigger because its newer (and of course its a supercenter) the super center about 30 min away is newer bigger and also has an oil and lube.(ours does not,due to lack of space when building)every new store that gets built around here either gets built or gets a new improvement....also the corporation seems to remodel the stores about every 5 yrs for maintaince needed.or to expand the store ..whatever they feel is needed...also keep in mind that they wouldnt put gigantic store in a small town if it isnt needed, who would shop it if there it isnt that many people in the town?it would hurt the sales.walmart also looks at what exactly would interest the customers in each area.for example..you would be expect to see say snow sleds ect in the northern states that snow more than say florida where you would find more beach/summer equipment, they also decide the sizes of each departments in this manner.smaller interest/sales will equal a smaller department for that city

  2. they go by how many people lives in that area ...

they 've names for it ....the larger stores are called

High volumes ......if they dont generate alot of people

and depends on how big that town is ....then they will

build a smaller walmart instead .

Each walmart , has different prices on there  product .

you can go to 2 different stores and whatever you buy

it will be cheaper or more .......
