I know it is not all of them but the more I read Q&A's on here, the more I realize there is still some people that think this way.

How can you justify this from your religion. Where in the Bible does it state that racism is ok?

  1. People can use the Bible to justify anything they want, as is the case with ANY text.

  2. 1st thanx for not saying all Christians i am a Christian and i do not do this

now there are certain "religions" and nondenominational teachers whom teach some harmful things which probably lead to this thinking. they teach that ham,son of noah whom slept with his mother, moved away after noah found out. they teach that he moved south toward the equater and got a "permanaent" sun tan. because ham had s*x with his mother he was wrong so they teach that any decendandents of his would also be bad. there is absolutely no proof that ham started the black race in fact within the ark were 2 black people noah took 2 of all "flesh" not "animals" are not black people flesh? yes they are. there for their race was on the ark also.but because these popular "teachers" teach this non scriptural "junk" you basically get garbage in, garbage otu and the racism they defend is garbage that comes out because of the garbage they take in

  3. It is when Jesus equated the Greeks with dogs:

    Mar 7:26 on

"The woman was a Greek", she wanted Jesus to cast the "devil out of her daughter". Jesus refuses, and claims that his services are for the children and not for the dogs. "for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast [it] unto the dogs". Mar 7:27

Jews = Children, Others = dogs.

That is racism, pure and simple.

Jesus helped the dog-woman when she acknowledged being a dog compared to the jews. Mar 7:28

  4. from diversity comes beauty... uniformity is not as beautiful. people warp the word of God.

greyure: you display your ignorance by saying that. God is sovereign, just because He set a portion of His will on one, you take it personally... is that not a trait of the devil? while God loved jacob and hated esau, He did so for reasons concerning matters of faith and of the heart. God did not create us all so that we would hate eachother.... satan exploits our deficiancy, he knows we are envious and spiteful by nature, therefor everything that divides is of the wicked one all the words he has said have brought division and only division.

  5. One can justify just anything with the bible or other religious books or even social systems like communism and democracy. The real question is: Why do you bother?

  6. I've never met a christian who was racist, but i just wanted to say, as Christianity originated from the middle east, and from parts of africa, how can a christian be racist when the chances are that jesus himself was black? aswell as everyone else in the bible.

  7. No where, for it says whosoever.

some take one verse and put "their" hates and etc to justify it. and do not bother to check the before and after verses

  8. The very idea that there could be a chosen people, i.e. the Jews, is racist, and that's from the Bible.  Most of the Old Testament is to do with asserting the superiority of the Jews over other ethnic groups and justifying the genocide they perpetrated on other peoples of the Middle East.  To be fair, though, many other ethnic groups see themselves as superior to all others in similar ways, for example us WASPs and the Romans and Greeks.  However, racism is a fairly central message of the Bible when it comes down to it.

  9. Because a certain percentage of Christians are racist and you can justify almost anything with the Bible.

  10. Racism isn't ok. People shouldn't discriminate but they do. Just know that it doesn't matter what race a person is. God loves everyone, regardless of race, s*x, sexuality, etc.

  11. Jesus was born in the middle east along with everyone else in teh Bible, they wasn't white so it make no sense to me what so ever

  12. Ignorance and fear the great motivators behind Christianity . Fear = hate .

  13. it not only  racism, it also justifies slave trade, women enslavement etc
