Question:

Why does a fine dining restaurant require 2 years experience as a Busser...in order to be a Busser?

Is that really necessary? Seriously? Isn't it safe to assume that after already working for 2 years as a busser you would have moved on (to a higher position)? Why would someone with that experience still apply for another bussing position?

  2. I think they just are looking for a person who has experience that will give their customers a good experience when they are dining at the restaurant. I'm sure they wont hold you to two years experience but just dont want to hire someone who has never bussed a table before. If someone has been at a job for a while, it shows that they can hold a job and are reliable good workers.
