Question:

Why does a folder keep coming back?

I made a folder just as a temporary thing to put a couple files in so i had them all together to put on a cd for someone. But now I keep deleting it and it keeps coming back, after the first few times it happened I deleted the files in the folder to see if they would come back as well, but no just an empty folder comes back. What happens is I'll delete it, even if i delete and then empty the recycle bin, or go into the recycle bin and delete it permanently, it'll come back and be sitting on the desktop a little while later after I close any windows blocking my view from the desktop, or next time I start my computer. What's going on????? How can I get it to go away permanently?

  1. Download load Unlocker it will help you to permanently delete that folder

I have used this before and it does work on empty folders

    Good luck

  2. You're not having any trouble deleting it, it's just being recreated?

Some program must be creating it...maybe even something wierd with your OS...All I can say is Have you restarted your computer since the incident?

  3. Go to this page and try their method.

    http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_d.htm...

    Found on Tech Republic website.

  4. well i dont like to answer this wormy stuff but i think u may be victim of trojan virus thats the same thing that happend to me but in a different fashion.try sum antivirus that would handle trojans like Kaspersky.

  5. Maybe it likes you. Let the folder down easy. Try the, "It's not you, it's me" line. If that doesn't work tell the folder you're g*y. If you know a bigger folder, have the bigger folder kick the little folders ***. If all else fails you should change your identity and pack up and move. Let us know how it all works out.
