Why is it that no matter which foot you put a sock on - left or right (not mine or his), if there is a hole in the toe it ALWAYS will fall over the big toe?

  1. It's like the  Apex of your foot, like a bra over a boob.  The apex will go to the most pointed area and settle. Hence the big TOE!

  2. Thats because your big toe sticks out the most. That happens to me as well

  3. your big toe is typically the longest so that is where the most stress is going to be applied to the fabric of the sock, and it's also where the most friction will happen against your shoe
