Why does a two year old have to be so naughty??

I think it is to do with them learning to talk and getting frustrated because they are not being understood, and at 2 its when they are still exploring new things .. ie drawing, my walls are covered in lovely bright colours due to my 2yr old doodling over them.

also they are able to tell you what they do and dont want like foods and such and when they dont get what they want. . . .well cover your ears. lol.

I dont know, im right there next to you my little girl is 17 months old and boy she can be a little booger at times. When you start to get frustrated just think of your babies cute little face laughing or doing something cute, aside from the crying lol, it always helps me calm down so that i can take care of her like she needs.

it really depends on how you look at it....a two year old is such a brand new person and has so much to learn...at this age, it's all about discovery...make the environment friendly (child-proofing) so you don't have to say 'no' all the time...remember, little language is going to bring on more behaviors..behaviors are communication..once language appears little children can be taught to say what they want to express...they need to be given the words to say...they were not born knowing social language....give them the language....that will help...also rewarding good behavior whenever you see it ('catch 'em being good') verbal praise, hugs, kisses help a lot...a cracker from time to time...

maybe if you come from another way of thinking, they won't look so 'naughty'.
