Why does a white male have to get disabled physically in the military to get the same preference points as a??

I mean I get out of the military and I get preference points for a prospective job.......and it is essentially just making me equal to a minority off the street with no experience or education at all. Its c**p

Actually you don't have to be disabled. The Bronze Star I was awarded in Desert Storm gave me the same hiring preference as a black woman according to recruiters for the LAPD. I felt like I'd finally made it somewhere in life!
