Why does alcohol make people do stupid things?

Question

whenever i get drunk i always kiss people i dont like and remember about 50% of the night (luckily nothing worse)

but what is it about alcohol that gives this effect?

alcohol is a blood thinner therefore less blood and oxygen gets to your brain

It goes to your brain and actually makes you do the things you would love to do but wouldn't. I'm not sure if that makes since but thats just how it always was. When you drink it makes you feel good. And when a guy flirts with you or hits on you it makes you feel better. Then you just want to kiss him. . . its good to hear that it doesn't go further!

I want to know the answer too. When I drink  I go crazy and smash up my apartment. And I sleep with people I shouldn't. I'm basically an animal when I drink.

Because it impairs your judgement, you are not normal when you drink that's why it's illegal to drink and drive. If you are doing things that you don't like when you drink then you should probably stop drinking or learn your limit to where you don't get out of control.

Ive done allot of stupid things on alcohol but ive never done anything criminal or inapropriate whilst ive smoked cannabis.

How many lads you kissed when you have been drunk? I think ive snogged over 20 girls when ive been out drinking in the last 9 years maybe even more than that.Ive lost girlfriends because of alcohol too but somtimes it can be so much fun and other times it just gets you into trouble

it affects the part of the brain that controls decisions and judgment and motor skills. it slows it down depending on how much you drink. it does not mess with the parts of your brain where information is stored and all that. i don't know if it's your right or left side that controls what parts.

Alcohol is a drug that lowers inhibitions, drastically. it also impairs movement and speech. especially in large quantities. if youre blacking out on nights youve probably drunk to much on that night. try drinking less for more pleasant evenings.

LOL! but really I think you should think about if any man would take advantage you by slipping you a roofie/date rape drug, also if you cant handle booze than stop and liquer stimulates chemicals in the brain so obviously its getting yoru sexual ones going so rethink drinking before youre the town ______________ Okay hun really I mean it, It isnt good for you at all, if youre on meds it'll affect you and this isnt cool hun, GOOD LUCK
