Why does alcohol make people throw up?

why? my friend tay and i drank a lot of banana rum and some baileys whys she sick?

It's a poison. That's why it can over-power your blood and kill you if you drink too much. I never understood why people would wanna get drunk.

Alcohol Dehydrates your body and impairs your judgement. It is also a Toxin and has to be filtered through your liver and Kidneys just like everything you injest. If you have too much, your body will tell you it cant handle it and reject it, the only way to reject it is get it out of your system. hence the throwing up

Just kidding.  alcohol is a poison.  Your body's natural desire is to want to live so if you ingest a poison, often the body will eject it.
