Why does an water oak tree leaves fall for no reason?

  1. they don't.... the seasonal temperture changes effect the chemical make up and the nutrients that the tree can get to the leaves and sustain that supply. when the seasons change the nutrients are more difficult to get and the leaves are less importants so they die and fall off of the tree... :D
