  1. I think it has something to do with a chemical imbalance in your head.  Also though, at least for me, when I first started antidepressants, they gave me more energy, but they didn't help me feel better and I actually felt like I finally had the energy to kill myself.

Like me, for some people antidepressants just don't really work and it could possibly frustrate people that nothing can make them feel better.

  2. For some people the neuro-trasmitters in the brain that are being affected because of depression, anxiety, bipolar, or what ever the medication is being prescribed for does not react to the prescription the way that most others do. For the drug to work correctly, the uptake receptors let the drug in to allow them to "fire and hit the target". For a few people their receptors will not fire right with the drug.

Most commonly suicial thoughts and increase depression will happen when someone is put on a medication or the dose is increased. Usually the symptoms will go away within the first couple of weeks. If this doesn't happen they should see their doctor again to see what else can be done, ie different medication or some modification of the current one.

    I hope that this helps.

  3. Anytime you put serotoin in your body that isnt already there, throws you off.

I used to overdose purposly on serotonin drugs, because my body was used to suffering from serotonin syndrome, and that what made me feel comfortable. Artificial serotonin also causes addictions to alchol, other pills, drugs ect.

Im currently trying to fight an adderall addiction. sadly im loosing. The only time i have felt suicidal or have tried to comit suicide was while i was on an ssri anti depressant. addictions are harder to fight with extra serotonin in your body, and i od'd on it so much, it will be in my body for possibly years.

  4. It's NOT the right medicine....

Get help to get on the correct medicine to help with this chemical imbalance..

persist until you have one that does not make you suicidal....

    good luck..

  5. they take some time for the body to get used to the tablets your putting into your body. People say u have to feel worse to get better ... but that feeling can be totally unbearable!

if this is yourself your referring to, if it carries on, or if it gets to much for you to handle ... go to the doctors.

and if you ever need to talk im a good listener :) x

  6. Because those type of meds mess with the chemical balence in your brain.
