  1. They do that to shame people in order to make them change their ways. I know, it's not exactly the most effective approach on the world, messing with our emotions and all, but they want people to feel that way in order to get them to do something about this issue. Did you ever experience times as a student where the teacher would guilt the whole class over something, even when it was only a few kids? It's the same deal. They think that that method of shaming will get people to do something about it.
