Question:

Why does any question about Jesus send panic and anxiety in Christian and Muslim circles? Is this a phobia?

Jesus seems to be the connecting link between the Christians and the Muslims although the Quran condemns the worship of a son of Allah and the Bible agrees with the Quran that Jesus was not the name of the Christ and that the Christ was not "crucified" nor was he killed as the Bible is believed to be saying.

Just question "Jesus" and it drives the Y!A community on its heels to make excuses for answers and to condemn your grammar or spelling, which may well be poor typing skills or, plainly, The Printer's Devil.

If your belief in Jesus is unshakable then you will not get heart palpitations at the mention of Jesus and your answers should be enlightening, not the lightening of Zeus as at the transfiguration.

  1. OMG a question about Jesus.... *runs for cover*

  2. My heart beat is slow and steady. I believe Christ is Jesus of Nazareth. Following his teachings give me peace.

  3. It's just insecurity of ALL religions. Whether you worship Allah, Krishna, Buddha or God. You are all insecure. That is why you ask and answer these questions.

Me, I am an atheist. I am happy.

  4. God is Allah, your ignorance and pride will get in the way of trying to convince others because your own argument (if it can be called that) is self-defeating. From what I hear, Muslims do not accept Christ Jesus as Savior. Christianity is obviously centered on the unmerited grace and salvation that is derived from the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus gave to us.

Prophecy, the bible, testimonies, and modern science and discovery have all proved the existence of God and Christ Jesus.

    Your Brother in Christ

  5. People need something to believe in, if you need to ask a question about another religion then do what I do, ask someone that's not religious. Making people doubt their religion should be a sin in all religions.
