  1. Because God's aim sucks.

  2. Jhn 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.

Jhn 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

  3. That is the question that people have been asking for millennia.

I am not sure that somebody has found a really satisfactory answer

  4. Because bad things can happen to anyone, regardless of what religious delusion they believe.

  5. Oh this ones easy bad things happen to regular people because they SIN

And bad things happen to Christians because God is TESTING their faith like Job.

    How convenient...

I think the moral of my answer is bad things happen to people irregardless of beliefs

  6. well u figure it out and ask God..i mean come on this is pathetic the word Bible should be capitalized. Also, Christians and Job

get it right then ask me later

  7. 1. Because Satan is the ruler of this world and therefore this world is ruled by bad. 2.If nothing bad ever happened to good people then we won't be able to prove that we can be faithful to God; we won't sanctify His name and prove satan wrong. The point of the story of Job was to prove to satan that a person can still be faithful to God even if they suffer. And so God permitted satan to bother Job to prove to him that it is truely possible.

Anyways, what better way is there to prove that we deserve eternal life than staying faithful, even under persecution?

Also, we are in the last days.. and satan knows he will soon be destroyed, therefore he is doing his best to take as many people down with him. 1Peter 5:8 says"Keep YOUR senses, be watchful. YOUR adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour [someone]." AND Rev. 12:12 says"On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

Bible clearly shows that this was going to happen as well.

mathew 10:22 says"nd YOU will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my name; but he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved."

And as more proof that we suffer because of satan.. Rev. 2:10 says" Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. Look! The Devil will keep on throwing some of YOU into prison that YOU may be fully put to the test, and that YOU may have tribulation ten days. Prove yourself faithful even to death, and I will give you the crown of life. "

  8. Because Christians are hated by the devil, right? It's obvious that God has less power than Satan and cannot help you with your problems, especially if he himself could not foresee how much of a d**k Satan was going to be. He couldn't see Satan ******* up heaven; he cannot see your best friend leaving you in the dirt tomorrow.

I don't think I'd want to follow a god who throws piles of **** at me; makes me depressed and suicidal; makes my life a living h**l just to "test" my faith to him.

  9. For precisely the same reasons why bad things happen to atheists.

  10. Hey!

This is a very common question. So many ask: Why do bad things happen to faithful servants of God?

One reason is that all of us inherited sin and imperfection from Adam and Eve. Thus, we face the prospect of pain, suffering, and death. (Romans 5:12; 6:23) Another reason is that we are living in the last days. The Bible describes people in our day as “having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness.” (2 Timothy 3:1-5) Evidence of this is the prevalence of rape, kidnapping, murder, and other brutal crimes.

Many faithful servants of God live and work among violent people and at times become their target. We may find ourselves in a life-threatening situation simply because of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Moreover, we experience the reality expressed by Solomon when he stated that “time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.”—Ecclesiastes 9:11.

Additionally, the apostle Paul stated that Christians would be the object of persecution because they worship God. He said: “In fact, all those desiring to live with godly devotion in association with Christ Jesus will also be persecuted.” (2 Timothy 3:12) In recent years this has proved true in a number of countries.

Therefore, God-fearing people are not exempt from the effects of violence, crime, natural disaster, or accidental death. Satan has tried to use the argument that God puts a hedge around His people so that they go through life unscathed. (Job 1:9, 10) That is not the case. We can, however, be certain that even when God does not provide miraculous deliverance from a situation, he does give his people protection.

But we all should keep Matthew 5:45 in mind, where it says that God causes the sun to shine and the rain to fall on the wicked and the righteous.

Anyway, that's my rather long-winded answer! Hope it helps! Have a great day!

    Luv ya,

    Tashi :)

  11. yup, the book of Job answers why bad things happen to good people. it's my favorite :)

  12. Matthew 5:45 "that you may be the sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust."

This is not only the reason why bad things happen to Christians but, also, why wonderful things happen to non-Christians.

  13. The bible tells us that we (believers) would be persecuted.

  14. Sometimes to make us stronger; sometimes because of failure to pray. People would be preserved from many misfortunes if they would pray the rosary lovingly, humbly, and attentively.

The fifteen promises of Mary to Christians who recite the rosary:

    1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.

    2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

    3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against h**l, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

    4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

    5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

    6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.

    7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.

    8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in Paradise.

    9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

    10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

    11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

    12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

    13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.

    14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons, and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.
