He wants you to have more ability to learn another language, because after all English isn't spoken at every single country around the world.  What's your problem with his outspoken reasoning that an education, especially one that involves a better ability to interact internationally, is a good thing?  Or how about the fact that when you get a job practically anywhere, you get a pay raise when you know another language?  I don't know why you bring up his middle name AGAIN because it has absolutely nothing to do with the man himself.  If you want to prove how bad it is that he's trying to get people to learn other languages, tell me how.  I'm not seeing anything.  

Oh, and tp4me5, I don't know where you're getting concentration camps from.  That's just ridiculous.

Maybe since we are already in the 21st. century he feels that our education system (no child left unbeknighted) should at least be up to 20th. century stamdards.

It's mandatory just about everywhere else in the world that children learn another language.  What do Americans think?  That the entire world gotta learn English?  I would not count on it that English is going to be the world's language---there are 1.2+ billion Chinese and so who are Americans to think that their language is the one that will prevail?????  Besides, you are being abusive in your language-Y/A does not promote name calling....

because america is just one small fraction of the world, and it's about time ignorant people in this country begin to realize that. and newsflash- the rest of the world doesn't like us much. why do some people believe that the US is some sort of higher authority that can force its ideals onto other nations? thanks to the idiotic monkey in the white house, our country has lost all it has worked for over the years and it's going to take someone like obama to bring respect home again. the first step is showing the world that not everyone in the US is a stuck-up racist.
