Why do people say "Easy as pie?" Or cake? I've been thinking about this, and I don't see any possible relations to pie or cake being easy.

I guess easy to bake?

Gimme your thoughts, america!

And Europe!

And Asia!

And South America!

And... Africa?

And South Brazilia!

And New Zealand

And Japan!

And Candyland!

And...

I'm done.

  1. Actually, a pie is pretty easy to bake--just make the crust and pop in a filling.  It used to be a standard food--"as American as apple pie."   It's hard to mess it up, you just put in a heap of sliced, peeled apples, put in some sugar until it looks right, and then maybe some spices if you happen to have some handy.   A bit more or less of any of these ingredients won't spoil the dish, so you really don't have to fret about it.

  2. i really dont know i think it personally sounds cool, but pie i guess is easy to eat cause you love it so much. there are many other bizarre quotes like that one. lol i hope that helps......
