Why does being a good person not seem to count for anything anymore?

so at my collage is this really rude , stuck up arrogant girl , who is just in no other words a b*tch. but she is a straight A student who will probably get into oxford and it feels like people mostly and especially teachers just seem to kiss her *** all the time , and its like why ? she so rude?

now admittedly i was jealous of her for her grades but then i thought, wait your a bad person, why should i be jealous? I'm a better person than you and I'm not mean.

but it still brings the point that she will always probably be more respected in society then me with my average university education because she is more academic but why ? she treats people who disagree with her badly and looks down at people who aren't as 'smart' as her.

just ignore her if you believe in karma then it will pay off be nice even though the is being a snob and a dog

A good university will not make people feel pleasant about meeting you and spending time with you fun whereas a nice little good behaviour and approach to life would. Just like you did, you never know maybe even those a** kissing teachers might be calling her a b*tch however being a good person as you are, people are not going to call you such names behind your back.

What goes around, comes around and a good university degree isn't one of those things goodness is. Society will ask once about your degrees and probably forget it, for the first time and for evry time afterwards it will need not ask so but will always feel your goodness.

Just wait until she's in the real world with that kind of attitude. No employer will like to have someone with her personality no matter how intelligent she is.
