Why does best buy hate circuit city so much?

i used to work at circuit city and then a best buy got built and they were all like we're gonna put you out of business! and we weren't saying anything to them! i don't really care cause i don't work there any more just does anyone know why? and whenever i'd go in best buy because some of my friends worked there they'd be like "circuit city sucks!"

i guess it is because they sell similar products making them rivals in the business market.
