Why does blood never come out of clothing?

If you soak a garment in cool water for 20 to 30 minutes, it will come out, with a little help from "Shout" cleaner.    The older the stain, the harder to get out, but I have gotten blood out of clothes that have laid in the hamper for days.    It just takes a little time.

Always rinse right away, and use COLD water, not hot - hot water tightens upthe weave of the fabric, which makes it even harder to get out...

After rinsing, as soon as possible after the stain happens, in cold water, slap some sort of detergent on the stain - either spot treatment (shout,etc.) or use some of your actual laundry detergent (liquid) and set aside for 1/2 hour or so - then wash as usual.  ALWAYS check the stain BEFORE putting the garment into the dryer, as the dryer will set in some stains.  If the stain is still there, repeat and let sit longer with the detergent/spot cleaner on it.

It does if you use bleach and HOT water.

Soap, too.

Scrub hard.

Hello,,no problem. Go to the sporting goods section of your neighbor hood hunting supplies and buy a bottle of "SPORT WASH" liquid detergent, concentrated and takes out blood and grass stains and everything else. Do you think us hunting guys actually let bloodstains accumilate in our camo? My Dad is on blood thinners and most people know that if his type gets a small scratch ot cut they bleed a LOT. Now Mom has a bottle of this great product just for blood stains. Try it you won't regret the purchase. It also is non-scented and has no brightening agents in it,,so that's what I use it for in ALL my camo and hunting clothing. your welcome!!
