  1. Sucre is the capital of the judicial goverment, where they make laws, etc., and La Paz is the administrative capital, where the President lives and Congress meets.  hope that helps you out!


  2. Originally and officialy the capital was Sucre. But in time around 1899 most of the economic power and commerce had stablished in La Paz. So, the executive and legislative was moved there. It is still a sore point between the two cities because sucre feels it was robbed of the capital. Only the judiciary remains in Sucre.
