  1. I guess the FDA wants everything to have an exp. date.  Water probably doesn't "go bad" maybe it is just not as fresh if you drink it after the exp. date.  But it probably shouldn't be exposed to extreme temps either, like if you freeze it and then it gets really hot.  I don't know.  This is a good question!!

  2. Thats a good question.  If its not opened, how can it go bad? Its water!!

  3. water can sit stagnant and get old.

  4. I think even water can start to begin to have strange flavors from the bottle or exposure to light after enough time.  I wouldn't hesitate to drink "expired" water if I needed some though.

  5. They try to clean it by using so  many particles that they are actually killing us and if the water doesnt go into your body to destroy you the water will begin to get dirty

  6. because it's not moving or flowing i guess.

but seriously sometimes bottled water catches bad smells when you leave it too long i have no idea y.

  7. It has to do with the bottle actually.  The plastic in the bottle can begin to break down after a long time and especially if the bottle is exposed to light or heat (like the first poster said).

This is not good for you. That is why water bottles are "one-use" bottles. You are not supposed to re-use them because the plastic starts to leach into the water and then you end up drinking it.
