I had astigmatism before, but never like this. My eyes would shun glowing lights so much, it gives me a migraine... and I cant even tell which is giving me the pain anymore.

Anyways, I had an optic doctor looked at it.. and he said my glasses have a wrong degree of astigmatism for my right eye. Meaning.. although the amount was right, the lense position is not.

Anyways, I had it fixed now.. after wearing it for more than a year. But now I am still feeling pain in my eye when things start glowing.. and my migraine would eventuallty start... it hurts so much there are times I can feel a sensation on the top of my head...

I am worried maybe I got brain damage or something.. I heard a broken nerve in the brain can do that...

Any opinions?

  1. About 30% of migraine headaches cause visual disturbance, light and sound sensitivity for about 30 minutes before the headache starts.

So the headache is causing the eye problem, not the other way around.

See your family doctor, there are medications that help migraine.
