  1. go to a doctor...you need help

  2. ppl she said she ISN'T bulimic

  3. you shouldn't be asking this, you should be asking how you can STOP your bulimia!!!

  4. I don't know, I never heard of that before. What i have noticed is that overly skinny or anorexic women's cheekbones stick out because there is very little to no flesh on those bones.

So maybe this is what you're talking about. If it is, it's because some women are so skinny that their cheekbones protrude. I find it very unattractive.

  5. When a person throws up a lot, their salivary glands (on the sides of the neck) swell up & bulge...this make the checks look puffy.

  6. I'm not really sure, sorry.

  7. I'm sure that the regurgitated stomach acid inflames the walls of the mouth (as it does the esophagus) causing them to swell. As part of the healing process after the purge, the tissue may retain water. Many bulimics lose teeth for the same reason. They are eroded by stomach acid.

  8. two reasons

first- a bulimic may be malnourished, lacking protein.  Not enough protein in your blood stream will cause edema (swelling)  (think swollen ankles). So you can get swollen tissues which are noticable on the cheeks.

The Acids from the stomach being vomitted in the mout can irritate the buccal Lining (inside tissue on cheeks) and can cause swelling.
