  1. It still happens because there are still criminals willing to commit capital offenses.

What we definitely need is an increase in the number of times it is carried out.  Why should taxpayers pay to support a career criminal for his lifetime incarceration?

  2. Why are we forced to pay for the imprisonment of lifers?

Why should a person who murders another be allowed the right to live when they denyed another of that same right?

Also why do we not extend capitol punishment to child molesters?

I don't care if it's a deterrent. I do care when a known murderer or child molester is released or escapes from prison only to commit the same crime again.

I care about the rights of the victim. Why do you care about the rights of the offender(s) over the rights of the innocent victim(s)?

And when the do escape or are released and when they go out a rape another child or murder another person ( not all will but most do ) I blame you & other people like you for fighting to give them that chance!

  3. It doesn't happen near often enough.

  4. most of the peoples are they do our jobs only.not interest to the politics.so the capital punishment still happen.

  5. Cause bad people still commit capital crimes.  Thats was simple.

  6. Due to the fact there are some individuals that have not only lost their right to walk among to days society, they have also lost their right to live among us due to their blatant disregard for others lives.  If they are willing to kill, they are willing to be killed.

  7. Because there are still murderers and rapists that have no business remaining alive

  8. Because families are suffering because loved ones were victims of horrible crimes.  I dont think anybody can really way in on the idea of capital punishment unless they have fell victim or have a loved one who has fell victim to one of these terrible, violent crimes.
