  1. people taste different flavors in foods. Remember an onion depending on the soil is alot sweeter. Could be where you got it for example.


  2. Celery is mostly water, like a cucumber, has many nutrients and is high in potassium, iron and fiber, the sweet taste could be the piece you were eating as you progress threw the bunch, it does change flavour as you work you way to the core.

    I like it for a lot of things and make soup with it when it is cheaper, here in Canada we grow it during the summer month and is quite sweet, due to the marsh land it grown it, prehistoric volcanic lake bed soil.

  3. i don't really know what nutrients celery has but i did read somewhere that celery is the only vegetable in the world that when eaten burns more calories than you take in? (of celery)

  4. Celery only has a celery taste, perhaps you scraped it with a dirty knife.  Keep eating it, you use up more calories eating celery than the celery has in it....................
