Why does channels 100-999 won't work on the Suddenlink DVR?

i just got it today and it will work on regular channels but it wont on the HBO or Starz channels. does anybody got a clue why?

  1. The only thing I can think of (other than not having a subscribtion to these channels) is that you have to go into the menu setup and set these channels as favorites (or similar) like I do on my Tivo.
