  1. it never really loses its flavor it just dulls because when u chew it thes sugar in it dissolves

  2. As you chew the gum in your mouth, you probably notice that it doesn't break up into pieces like everything else that you chew. That's because of the most important ingredient, called the gum base. The thing is, we can't chew through (easily) or digest the gum base. That's why it stays in our mouth.

However, there are other ingredients in gum. One of them is the sugar (or artificial sweetener). When you chew the gum, the saliva in your mouth beings to digest the sugar in the gum. When you swallow, the sugar that you've chewed out of the gum and into your saliva gets transferred to your stomach. So you're left with just the gum base.

That's why you can't taste the mint, or sweetness, or cinnamon  anymore- you basically chew it out because you can digest it. But the indigestible gum base stays.

  3. Ask Stride or Juicy fruit they don't lose their flavor......Blessings Yahoo

  4. you get used to the flavor and you stop tasting it.

  5. same reason mints dissolve in your mouth: youre sucking all the sugar out
