Why does chic-fil-a have to say "My Pleasure"?

It is very creepy. Has anyone ever said it with a sarcastic attitude to you?

They're probably just trying to stand out.

I think anything can be said with a sarcastic attitude. Especially by someone who probably makes minimum wage and is being forced to say this ridiculous thing to people. :)

They are always nice there and never s***w up your order.  I think its because they want you to come back and want you to think your important.

I think the guy who created the restaraunt is from the South...perhaps it's a Southern hospitality thing.
