  1. because they have such bad pollution, the chineese people are use to breathing it in everyday, so it dosnt affect the athletes. When other countries, with clearer air come to china, their lungs cant take it, thus hurting their preformance.  So china is doing so good because their preformance is not affected by the pollution, they are immune to it.

  2. Because of talent.

  3. i think because they are the most flexible people on earth but thats what i think

  4. those cheaters!

man.. if i was nastia liukin id be so mad. they had the same score!

we dont even know if some of those girls are of age yet! you know some of them have to be under 16. and if it was another country, i bet someone would be throwing a fit. but just because we're over there no one is saying anything.

cant wait for the 2012 olympics in london.. itll be much better!

  5. The more medal they have, the more people are happier. That is simple! I think you know that. England maybe got 600 medals.

What about football? Do they win?

Some games they never know, like horse racing, sailing, cycling.

  6. Olympic hosts automatically are eligible for every event.  A lot of those events they had never competed in before.  Some events aren't very popular and they are pretty much competing against themselves like womens weightlifting.

  7. In the news lately, China has been the talk of the town with their controversies...

first of all, they snuck in a little 14 year old girl on their gymnastics team, and several spectators have died

my guess is that they are cheating in some way

  8. becuase they are good at the olympics, and an extremist country focused on winning

  9. Because in China children are trained exclusively for the sport they will compete in. In most other countries children have a life in China they have sport and have no rights.

There sport is also not like in other countries it's more like training for the SAS or Navy Seals and so on. Very hard and tough with no leniency because they are children.

  10. Everybody has their price and China is on a shopping spree with a unlimited expense account.

  11. because they are extremely good! and they are really competitive. they probably are threatened to win, or else... who knows. it's sad...

  12. Well they have over 700 athetles participating, just like the US. And also biased judges!

  13. Because they are the most populous nation in the world (1.3 billion) and also the richest.

It's national pride and proving to the rest of the world that they are the best.

    Money is no object.

  14. They added rice picking and catching flies with chopsticks events?

  15. Haha it's funny you should ask that. I was beginning to think the same thing. Well, I believe it's because they worked harder for it since they're home team, and want to please their own country. In one case from what I heard, gymnasts were taken from their families as early as three to be trained for the Olympics. I suppose we're just going to have to watch out for them next year. C=

  16. because your too weak.

  17. no not fishy, its called talent, im guessing you're a jelous american, stop posting theses questions and trying to get people on your side because everyone is on china's side and against the US

  18. Obviously because the judges are influenced by the Olympics being held in China. And you know the Chinese, in their totalitarian communist country, are taught their whole lives what they should do for a living. The government has like quotas, and train children to do certain things. Of course a child force-trained for Olympic gymnastics their whole life will be better.
