Our maintenance men have worked on our A/C unit 7 times in 10 days. It either doesn't work, blows the circuit breaker, and now it' s blowing cold air out of the cold air return.

  1. First if air is blowing out of the return, turn it off.  Somehow the fan wheel would  have to be turning backward which unless you have a commercial 3 phase unit or your unit is belt drive and they have the pulleys completely screwed up, I cannot explain.  Call another service company.  There is no way that should not have been able to find the problem in 7 trips.
