  2. I think it becomes more transparent, so the photons can go into the cloth deeper, where they have more chances to be absorbed.

  3. This has to do with Physics...I'm pretty sure that when a cloth gets water on it, the light that is shone on it is absorbed more and therefore is not reflected as bright...can someone please tell me if this is right?

  4. We see objects by the light reflected off them. When a table cloth becomes wet it absorbs more light so that less is reflected to our eyes. Less light so it looks darker.

  5. yez the former postr is rite partly due to absorption of water molecules by the cloth. for ex u dont wear a blk shirt on a sunny day due to absorption . the table goes roygbiv. but yes the molecules make it impossible to c thru the cloth.
