Why does comcast say they have over 1,000 hd channels?

as far as I know they don't even have 100.

  1. You misunderstand what they said.  If you sign up with them you will have access to thousands of movies and On-Demand shows. And they do say "hundreds of shows and movies" for HD.


  2. That's the commercial where they're Spoofing the other company that CLAIMS to have over 200 channels of HD....

    And they know that OTHER company can't provide the full 200 channels until the network goes HD....

    We know who they are, right?

    It's not up to Dish or Direct TV or even Cable to give us over 200 channels of HD...even they have to wait for the network to turn on HD services...all they can do is DELIVER the service that the network provides....

    Like TLC is HD....Discovery is, Food Network is...Nickolodean isn't (who needs HD on Nick at Night --all low def old shows)

    You get my point here?  If the network provides HD, then it's available to all the cable and satellite companies that deliver that network....

  3. Most of them need to be purchased.
