Why does conserving water help me?

I know we cut down on the water bills but anything else?

  1. Well isn't saving some money a really big incentive for you.  The problem with most environmental issues is that the ramifications for one person's actions dont neccessarily affect them immediately or even at all.  Like someone on a highway who throws a peice of trash out there window.  Unless they get pulled over they will never ever have to deal with anything about that trash ever again, but if everyone did that soon our entire planet will be over run with garbage and trash.  The same goes for something like water conservation where it may not solve the world, but as part of a bigger movement it goes a long way.  

    The fact that you can save money on your water bill should be a nice big incentive to conserve water, especially on top of the fact that you are making a big difference in the world....even if you cant see it directly...
