I got some king crab legs and had a few leftovers from last night. Today i got some meat out of the legs and put it in the microwave to reheat it and it started sparking a bit. Why is this?

  1. dunno, try steaming them over next time you wanna heat them up

  2. That is unfortunately due to the higher levels of mercury in our seafood nowadays. The reason fish doesn't also spark it up is that fish constantly filter out their mercury while taking some in through their constant motion, crabs just soak it all up.

  3. You might want to check the container you reheated it in. That's the only thing i could think it could be

  4. Reheating any food rich in cholesterol will surely spark in the microwave specially if newly taken from the refrigerator.
