  1. the atmosphere is trying to equalize out the temp. it however is not a quick event and water is drawn to the cooler can in the form of condensation.


  2. The air that is in close contact with the can is cooled by the cold can to the point that the moisture in that air condenses onto the surface of the can.  Dew forms in a similar fashion.

  3. technically it's called condensation, not dew. But it forms because the outside air is warmer than what's in the can.

  5. the can is sweating because while it was in the fridge it had tiny ice particles on it and when you have it out at room temperature the tiny ice particles melt and the can looks like its sweating.
