Why does drinking beer before liquor suppsoedly get you sick?

i just had 4 beers and im now drinking 7 and 7 it doesnt really bother me

  1. No truth to it...just a little personal pom-pom verbage to give you some "drinking" courage....if consumed with enough quantity...you'll still be pukin'....


  2. For one thing it's a lot of alcohol. Mixed drinks tend to sneak up on you and hit you all at once.

  3. it doesn't, that is a myth that lightweights sue to explain why they puke and make as ses of themselves.

  4. the saying goes "beer before liquor, ever sicker. liquor before beer, never fear." but it doesn't really matter. it's all alcohol. you'll probably get sick either way if you drink too much

  5. It's not only the quantity of alcohol that matters, but the fact that you're mixing your booze that might cause problems.  And you may not have an issue right now, but if you have a hangover it'll be WAY worse than if you'd stuck to drinking only one thing the whole way through.
