Why does driving a BMW make you feel like God?

When i am driving my bmw & see other cars on the street i think oh theres a nissan, toyota,ford theres another piece of c**p.. What is it about the beamer that gives us special powers & makes one feel better then everyone else & like GOD?

Because BMW cars have great handling the X5 hugs the road so it has really good handling, and since BMW is from Germany and they have the Autobahn, it can hug the road like nothing. I even have a BMW it's a 2008 328i its a great car too and runs really good.

Because you own a car that is better than most others you'll see on the road. I really think BMW has more haters than just about any other car, and most of them are Honda guys (see louis above me). They just don't want to admit that their riced out civics with giant spoilers aren't as good as the Ultimate Driving Machine. I bought my first BMW when i turned 18, a 1998 BMW 328is five speed, and I just bought a 2000 BMW M5, and I'm not even 20 yet. I find it hard to believe that anyone can not love these! And you don't have to be a doctor or lawyer to afford them either, they aren't Lamborghini's! Buy a diagnostic tool, and get ready to get your hands a little dirty. You can save a lot of money by doing regular maintenance by yourself, like changing oil, air filters, rotating tires, etc...

Great cars, I'll drive them as long as I can, or until I can get my pearl orange gallardo!

Haha. That's how I felt when I first got mine. The guy at the dealership actually told me it happens to a lot of people but then I realized about a month later. My Honda drives about the same if not better. . . . That was a let down. The dealship guy said we like to compensate for how much we paid by thinking more highly of our cars. (After I signed of course. He was actually a really good friend of mine)

Because you are driving a car that is better then 90 % of everyone else in the population. Everyone else is in their bucket or decent toyota or nice honda whereas you are in a classy, stylish, powerful, elegant piece of automotive excellence.  hehe maybe thats why.. bottom line you got a better car then most everyone else. the one problem with that is jealousy as can be seen by the losers posting negative comments (lol, they are probably the one's working hard to pay off their toyotas & nissans & the sad thing is they think they are cool....

I am pleased that you like your BMW... but I always had such a bad time with it. I used to have X5 and last year got new B7 and I swear, these cars were in shops more than 15 times  a year and I finally got sick of it. I thought it might have been the way I drive but after I switched to another car everything is fine.. No one around me was happy with their experience with BMW but it is strange that it`s still the most popular/selling car out there!
