Why does every body want fame these days?

is money or you think you can s*x with whom ever you what. is it a pride thing or you cant stand the fact that clebs just get to much dam attention these days

The million dollar question. I've always wanted to be famous for something when I was really young. Yet if that is what I wanted: To be famous for something [Acting maybe?] I consider that to be quite selfish of myself, and I do things just for myself. Well, now I don't want to be famous, and I want to do something that can help others.

Sometimes when someone is left alone or lonely at childhood the person would desire to be famous so that they want to be known, and admire them. You can be famous for almost anything, for the good or for the bad. In many ways I agree with you; it's a pride and selfish thing to do, although I know that some celebrities don't think the same way as I mentioned.

I like Mother Theresa a lot. She has helped so many people, and in my opinion, I consider her to be a role model for many because she has sacrificed her comfort zone to be help others. That's what I call a celebrity.

er, well people don't want to live in the ghetto and want a better life. i think i want to be a celeb because i know i'm not gonna abuse like cyrus or hilton. i mean sitting at home wishing to go to amazing place, i wanna DO that. to be really noticed for your great talents is something. just don't be a dumb@ss celeb.

for me it's pride. to feel real good that i'm noticed. money doesn't matter, just the blessings...

I believe that people might want money and showing their the best of the best or some people just want others to finally know who you are and your talent. x]

finally, an intelligent person. where have you been?? well to answer your question, it is in human nature to want to be accepted by your peers and have everyone "love" you, but this generation has completely taken that out of control. fame does not equal success. these little 14 year olds that are dominating the music buisness right now engender this ideal. at age 14 is when kids want to be "popular," so that's why the hannah montana's and jonas brothers are being worshipped by pathetic teens in america. nowadays, kids don't get attention from there parents so they seek it elsewhere.

anyway, bottom line is, people want fame because it gives them an ego boost; a euphoric high that lasts for a few years and makes them feel as if they're on top of the world because they're getting attention/

Fame is a love thing isn't it, you want all the love and attention people shower you with. And money of course. I sure as heck don't want to be famous, having a zillion papparazi stalking me and driving me insane and going loopy on drugs like they all do.

I don't think everyone wants it. But i do believe that most people who go into the business have always craved attention which is why they go into the business in the first place.
