I'm 24 year old college grad, so maybe I'm just not cool anymore, but why does every teenage girl do that lip pooch pose? I think it just looks S****y, but try this, go to just about any girls myspace page age 14-19 and sure enough there it is that pic they took of themselves there in front of a mirror with those poutty lips.... I seriously want to know it's like a pout lip pooch epidemic.

  1. cause its the "in" thing for their age. every girl is doing it so they do it..

  2. im 14. and i hate that pose! i always  have pictures of friends and i smiling and acting normal.

maybe its because i have an older sister age 25 and she makes me realize how stupid it looks and its better to just smile :]

  3. EW I KNOW. I am a teenager girl and it drives me INSANE. I hate it, it is so annoying and ugly. I don't think it's normal for me to hate all teenage girls but I don't care because they're so freaking irritating.

  4. I know, I try and shy away from that. It looks stupid.

  5. My friends and i make fun of that all the time. we call it the "myspace face" and do dramatized faces of it. i don't know how it got started, but i don't think it will be cool for too much longer.. hopefully. the people who do it just look like they just got backhanded or something. hah, i'm glad somebody else noticed.

  6. what about the peace sign they all do? thats annoying

  7. im 17, i never ever did a pose like that, but i know what you mean. no down-to-earth, sensible girls i know do it. its all the girls who have reputations for being a **** and stuff. even miley cyrus, ALL her pics she has that aren't on the red carpet or whatever...she's doing that! i hate it, i never have done it, and my friends dont do it. maybe we're just weird lol. but they do it cuz everyone else is doing it, which i think is stupid. lol. why would you wanna be like everyone else?

  8. Im 18, for the record.

anyway it's because our youth culture idolizes little brats like Miley Cyrus

and "S****y" is the new "cute"

    its disgusting.

  9. I know what you mean it drives me insane. All of my friends do it and I'm just like why do you do that?? its stupid and ugly really

  10. They think it looks cute , but it only looks cute to the person doing it... everybody else thinks it looks dumb..Let them do it then just tell them how stupid it looks they'll stop if they think they'll be made fun of. ...Why don't they get how dumb it looks ..ha-ha  glad I don't do that . I have a nice smile that's what I like to show.

  11. agreed, i dont think they are aware at ALL that they really just look like little fish, instead of being s**y ( which they are obviously aiming for)

oh and dont forget the peace sign, thats a must, but im pretty sure they could all give a shiit about world peace

w/e, they'll look back and finally see how truly retarded and unnatractive it looks

i mean really, how bad is a normal smile?

  12. Why does everyone seem to ask this question?

    USE THE SEARCH BUTTON

like seriously, this question is annoying me

(and noo, i dont do that pose, dont worry)

  13. I really do not know!!

its the model-look-at-my-cheek bones-pose that I figure is a lame attempt to mimic or perhaps mock the industry.

    I'm 19 and I still don't understand the trend.

  14. some people have told me im photogenic ,

and meeh i suppose i take good pictures

    (im not arrogant .. =) ]

riight ad actually i think its all started because truly beautiful people who can take a picture showcasing their natural beauty would just smile , and  naturally ''glow''

but tennage girls on myspace want to hide their sometime non-existen flaws by scrunching their face, and doing stupid stuff like the pouty lip

    yes.. it is sluty and

no , none of them probably giveadamn bout worldpeace
