Why does every girl take their picture holding the peace sign sideways?

What does that sign mean, and why doesn't anyone come up with their own sign like three fingers or four.

Why do humans, especially females, all do exactly the same thing that the other females of the same age are doing at any giving point in history, are females just prone to conformity?

Please, most of us can't even go to the bathroom by ourselves.  I was on a double date, and I got up to go to the restroom, and the other girl got up and followed me, then didn't go pee!  I was like "What the h**l? Do I have a fan?"

Most girls are too scared to stand out tooooo much, that's why they love me and hate me.  Because I'll be in a car full of gangsters, and put on CCR just cuz I'm in the mood.  I got this other girl to love the song Long Cool Woman by the Hollies, and she used to count drug money for some Crips!

hahah yeah that is true every girl takes pictures for myspace holding up the peace sign or whatever or they will have two of the same pictures saying which is one is better only to hear guys say they are hot or something another thing they do is set the caption as "keep or delete" if you like the picture keep it if you dont delete it ohhhh and pictures with silly faces at the apple store too

oh the questions. its because most teenage girls have no creativity. i hate it when they do the peace sign because every single person does it.

because they can - they seem to think that it is 'cool' or something... they are sad, shallow little souls that just want to fit in and 'be popular'.

i agree, its a bit sad. not that i would go out and make it a big thing - coz its not - but i do think that all of this 'gotta be popular, gotta have all the lastest gear, eg. fashion, heels, padded push-up bra...' ETC is just SO TOTALLY STUPID AND OVERRATED.

and can i just say - females are not 'prone to conformity' - its just that the average girl wants to be popular and so goes along with whatever it is that the rest of the group is doing. like a craze. ugh!

as a female myself, i know that not all girls are like this (pick me, pick me!!) because, i mean, seriously, if we all act, talk, dress and do EVERYTHING the SAME, think about it - they look like a bl00dy ARMY!
