Most people would not object to reasonable taxes, to pay for legitimate government services.  The reason there is so much resentment isbecause everyone realizes that there is so much corruption in government, that they are being fleeced.  They don't' know what to do about it.

Most Americans think that excessive taxation is inevitable.  They think that corruption is part of government service.  They don't understand how we got there, and how different things were a few decades ago.

Before 1913, there was no personal income tax.  It took a Constitutional amendment to saddle us with this plank of the Communist Manifesto.  That same year, we got the Federal Reserve.  Most Americans didn't have a clue, concerning how these two factors would allow politicians to rob them of their substance, destroy their savings, and make  them slaves.

When if finally happened, few Americans understood what had occurred.  Patient gradualism had changed our Republic into an oligarchy, managed by criminal politicians, who do the will of unseen special interests.  The American people were asleep at the switch.  They allowed special interests to buy their politicians, rob them blind, and deprive them of their civil rights.

How did this occur?  The simple answer, we allowed criminal politicians to ignore the Constitution.  The Constitution would have prevented virtually all of the problems we face today:  inflation, naitonal debt, terrorism, health care situation, education situation, loss of civil rights, perpetual undeclared wars, high cost of energy, and on, and on.

Well to be honest, I dislike Income Tax for the simply reason that it is unconstitutional. It is written no where on the U.S. Constitution.

I'm going to take a guess that you do not pay taxes, yet.

Think of it this way, your parents give you an allowance for doing chores, but then take out percentages for things they feel you should pay for... like the post it's your mom leaves "I love you" notes on in your lunch box or your dad takes money out to make a payment on his credit card. If we could actually choose what our money went for things may be different, but having someone come along and take out large amounts of money you worked for to pay for things you do not even agree with is the most frustrating.

Now if I am wrong and you do pay taxes I simply can not understand why you would call anyone who 'hates taxes' 'greedy b******s.' People have families and bills and have to penny pinch just to make it. How fair is that?

It's not about greed. It's about liberty. People should have every right to keep the fruits of their labor.

When the government steals from one to give to another both are enslaved by it and the last time I checked stealing is stealing even if you ask someone else to do it for you.

Because the money is spent poorly on ideaologys that are not in agreement with our own, such as birth control, ineffective programs, and basically they are just misused. My brother gets paid to do nothing b/c he is an intercity youth who has gotten in trouble a lot. He gets paid to do nothing and then spends it all on alcohol! My tax dollars at work.

My mom works at a university, she is there maybe.... 25hrs a week and often doing her own personal things rather than the job. She got a 1g BONUS when she doesn't deserve the pay she gets even.

When you get into middle school you will learn that federal taxes were only enacted to pay for the World War and it was only temporary.  The Federal Government, up to the "temporary tax" ran fine with out taxing the citizens.  And, seeing that you are one of those favoring the marxist theory of "redistribution of wealth", I'll let you in on a little secret.  You can actually send all your extra money (that way you won't be such a greedy b@stard) to the Federal Tax Board any time you want as a donation and they'll take everything that you are willing to "donate".  Its perfectly legal to do so and that way you'll feel better that you aren't practicing capitalism!

Everyone except the law makers that tax us into poverty, local, state and federal.  That's not counting advorlem taxes and special assessment taxes. I think we just need one more tax, so I can go on the the doctor and get my back brace, it about broken now.  Have a good evening.
