Why does everybody hate the US ?

We're only 10% of the world population but we consume 25% of the worlds resources. If we planted crops on the lawns and golf couses of the US we could end world hunger.

Because so many here in the US tend to think they're better than the rest of the world. We're not the only country that is a democracy or that supports freedom of it's citizens.

The US is a great country with wonderful people, but thanks to the actions of our media, our government, and some uneducated people who go onto chats and talk smack...we all look like complete asses to the rest of the world.

everybody is all inclusive i do not hate hence everybody does not hate the US.  I think education could easily end world hunger, you see the golf courses you attack, I'm guessing in your mind its the rich who are the blame for everything.   However the hunger generates in places where poverty does not slow down reproduction rates.  Why should I give up my tee time when a parent of 2 starving children decides to bring into this world a 3rd?  Help me to understand untill then ill be out golfing and having a sandwhich at the turn

That would not end world hunger, because developing nations would just have more kids, and the leaders of most African antions woudl just steal the money & food from their people. World hunger is as much a political problem as it is a food problem.

Because generally speaking it seems as though you only care for yourselves. You don't seem to care that the Maldives are going to disappear in 50 years time because of global warming, just so long as you can have your cheap oil and giant trucks.

"everybody" hates america because they are just as closed minded as we are, just as inclined to act before thinking, and just as inclined to hate without knowing or caring about an entire story, but just what they hear on the news. I don't hate all Iraqi's, all Islamic people, or everyone in Afghanistan just because there's some terrorists there. If people hate all Americans because there's a few douche bags living among us, shame on them.

Why is it up to us to end world hunger?

We could just move populations from places that don't have sustainable resources to Kansas, Oklahoma and Montana.  That would work, too.

our leadership is corrupt. america is governed by  corporations, not the people. when you have big business making all the decisions and their only goal is profit, bad things happen. just look at companies like Halliburton... or any other number of defense contractors. why is it that we can spend untold amounts of money on "contractors" in iraq, but we cant provide every soldier with a kevlar vest???

I live in America but was born and raised someplace else. The number one reason why many people do not like America is because we tend to stick our noses where it doesnt belong. We need to fix domestic problems before going international and making other people's problems our first priority.

For one, not Everybody hates the US.  Those that do hate and loathe us, are jealous for what we have.  Why do you think immigration is such a problem IF Everybody hates US.  Heck, if I am not mistaken, we are the only country where the POOR can afford to be FAT (off everyone else's money, of course)

Obviously you've never been out of the U.S.(maybe you've been to Europe), but if you'd take the time to actually ask people in other countries, you'd find that it's the exact opposite. People in other countries love America. And What's with the world hunger thing? The world is not the responsibility of Americans, yet we still give loads of charity to poor places. Please investigate the facts before you accuse; don't just listen to the media!

They hate us because we are all rich compaired to them and yet we still complain that we don't get paid enough, they hate us because 75% of the population is obese when they cannot afford enough food to become obese, they hate us because we take most everything for granted because we can, they hate us because we have the freedomes they may never have. and yet we toss around our freedoms like garbage. We take too many things for granted, can you blame them for hating us??
