Why does everybody here support the KKR?

Question

Is is because of Shah Rukh Khan. Yes Ganguly is there and Akhtar and others. But it is obviously nowhere even near some other teams which have even better players. Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI etc. for instance have more popular players. But why KKR?

Kolkata night riders team was strong team contain Sourav Ganguly,Australian captain rickey ponting ,Newzland batsman Mcclem and other good batsmen and bowlers.., i don't know you had seen all matches when IPL start..,

First match of IPL between KKR vs Royal Challengers.. & Mcclem was the bastmen who score 150 .., fastest score in IPL but unfortunately  ricky ponting and Mcclem were gone to their countries. & slowly - slowly KKR come down if ricky, Mcclem & akhtar played all matches for KKR then you can imagine KKR on the top..,

but you forget Rajasthan Royal ...,

Rajasthan Royal is my Favorite team in IPL

Coz of SRK as somebody mentioned,i know kids in my school who don't even know more than 2 players of the KKR team but they are (or shall i say were?) supporting KKR.....The reason being it's Shahrukh's team...

Shahrukh Khan & Sourav Ganguly are 2 iconic figures in India. They have a huge fan following. So its quiet obvious that their team will also have huge no. of supporters. Among  other teams only Mumbai have Tendulkar who is an icon. Dhoni, Yuvraj, Sehwag ...... they are popular,still they are not  big enough figures. I firmly stand by kkr even if they keep losing just because i'm ahuge fan of Sourav.I've been following his cricket since childhood & Ilike his playing style,shots captaincy & his aggressive thinking. I know there are some better teams  than kkr which would be better to support but dada is dada.

it's maybe coz of shahrukh and ganguly but i am a fan or delhi daredevils.. no one owns bowlers like sehwag.. he slaughters the attacks.. gambhir is always in prime form. mcgrath is always cunning.

I like KKR bcoz of Ganguly and SRK but my fav team is CHENNAI SUPER KINGS! I even like Punjab's team but that doesn't mean that i'm a Punjab fan.....
