Why does everyone bash Lebron about Athens?

Lebron was 19 years old then! 19! And he didn't even have a main role in the team! Yet people still continuosly say "The only reason US is even in it is because of Kobe. Remember last time!"

Do you honestly feel that if Kobe wasn't here we would lose?

Because people were expecting more from LeBron and the USA "Dream Team" because they were suppose to be the best players in the world.

PPL bash him because they think that Lebron will beat Kobe one day. They don't look at success but look at failures. He was immature before but now knows how to play ball. In Athens the reason of the loss was no defense and poor executions. It had Stephen Marbury and Emeka Okafor and Lamar Odom in my oppinion did not need to be needed on the team. that was the reason of the lost
