Why does everyone call me a poser?

Question

I'm called wannabe emo, wannabe scene, and gothic. I hate it. I darkened my clothes over a summer, but have always loved the color black, red, and dark blue. I cut my curly hair into nice clean layers and dyed them dark brown with chunks of red and blue (now purple), but this was like in the middle of the school year. Everyone calls me a wannabe just cause iof how I look and the way I wear my eyeliner (heavy or with red eyeshadow), Here are some pics of me, do I look like a poser? I'm not trying to be anything! I'm just comftorable this way.

that is the way society is all judgmental and selfish there is nothing you really can do, fight them no its doesn't solve anything, be slow to anger dint worry about it focus in school that is how you are to succeed, it doesn't matter what people think of you today tomorrow  or today. there will always someone out there for you.

No I don't think ur a poser u just like what u like theres nothing wrong with that, plus they're probably jealous because ur pretty. :) Don't care what they think.

You're not a poser! I went through the same thing my sophmore year. I decided I really like converses, studded belts and heavy eyeliner then. Once I changed my appearance to what I liked rather than what other peopel did, I got called a poser. I don't dress like that anymore but when I did I got h**l for it. It was stupid. I wouldn't listen to them. There is nothing wrong with changing your style of clothing! It's not like it makes you act any different.
