  1. I think his cocky atitude, talks money all the time and yeah he is a boring boxer that will NOT go down as one of the greatest!

  2. I have nothing against Mayweather. The things he say, its just to sell ticket. Mayweather said, "Do you want to see guy's up there shaking hands, saying good fight, hope you do well". Yes, his mouth, attitude turns people off. I think most of all, people want to see him lose. One guy on here said, he dont just sit there and get hit. That's not smart boxing, ask Mayorga when he fought Tito. Would you sit there and let a guy hit you? Ali did all the trash talking but people still like him. I dont take it personal because they not paying me, its just boxing.

  3. because he went to the wwe and is scared to go into mma

  4. He is not the PEOPLE'S CHAMPION.  he is cocky and doesn't inspire the average fan to go for him. Lets be honest it is because he is undefeated that we consider him the BEST. if he would have had one loss, we would not hold him to the standard that we do. he hasn't clearly showed his p4p status since fighting club-fighter/brawler arturo gatti. He is a great fighter but he was never loved.

  5. because he is a $hit talker

  6. because he's cocky. He kinows his potential, kind of like angelina olie wont do a movie for 10,000, she knows she is wroth more. Boxig fans just havent caught on yet

  7. everyone hates him because of his mouth and his attitude

  8. I love him! I think he's gorgeous! and He's the best fighter in the world! I guess its cuhs he shows off his money  ALOT. That doesnt stop him from being super awesome

  9. because of his dirty mouth

  10. so full of himself, it's annoying!

he 100% deserve's all the hate!

when someone will woop his a$$ then we will see how he gonna act!

  11. You've got to admit, he tries very hard to annoy people.  And the way he flaunts his wealth is very offensive to some people.  I could care less, and Floyd could care less.  It doesn't stop me from enjoying his performances in the ring.

But Ray Leonard and Thomas Hearns would have made him permanently dizzy.  Pernell Whitaker would have given him a boxing lesson.  Ray Robinson would have turned Money May into a full time wrassler.

  12. I think its his nickname. People think that he is full of hisself. They think that he is more worried about his image than the sport. Because personally I like him I only have that problem.

  13. I liked him at the lower weight classes. He used to fight. At welterweight or above he's so scared to get hit that he's boring to watch. Usually just does enough to win.

  14. He respects no one. Thats why.

  15. Because of how cocky he is people hate  him , he laughs at his opponents doesnt show them much respect. A lot of people feel hes afraid to fight certain fighters. He defintly has avoided a couple fighters at least two I know of for sure antonio margirtio and miguel cotto , but I dont hate him and people accuse him of fighting only bums which is pretty far from the truth. His last 2 fights were against very well known big named opponents oscar de la hoya and ricky hatton. Most people say Oscar is too old and is washed up but thats not true. He looked good against floyd and nearly won the fight. Others will beg to differ saying he didnt come close to winning but they arent the judges, and those are the only scores that matter , so if they scored it as a split decision  that means the fight could have gone either way and there is every reason in the world for a rematch.

  16. He is a Boring boxer.

  17. his attitude promotes the fight, so i dont hate him for that, what i hate about floyd is his fighting style. always running, focuses on the defenses, not being aggressive, and always playing safe. which makes the fight super boring.

  18. i'm going with the attitude.

Boxing started (well it didn't start this way it started as streetfighting, and was forced ) as white collar boxing, a gentlemens sport.

All those rules etc were to keep a clean fight, and let gents "duel" as sorts without fatality, ends with a handshake and so on.

Now its progressed to a big money sport, which is good.

The big money has attracted bad attitudes, if i were about to go into a fight, i'd be honest about it, "yeah he's a good fighter blah blah blah i hope i win but its not garuntee'd" he goes in going "blah blah blah he's a loser i'm gonna whoop him so bad his momma's gonna feel it etc etc " (ok not in those words but he smack talks a bit too much)

    Thats my take anyway.
